We travelled that route once and loved it. We tried again two years later and had to turn back. The road was so rough it made for a terrible ride, no enjoyment at all. It all comes down to time of year and previous weather. This was in the same GMC 4x4 pickup truck.

RE: Cleaner For Plastic Sinks
You could try toothpaste. It's mildly abrasive though.
I used it to clean up an outdoor thermometer that yellowed with age. Worked out great.

I use this stuff on my kayak, makes it super slick and you can glide 2-3 times further. Great for sneaking up on wildlife, a few hard paddles and glide in.

I tried, came close but no exact match. All the ones that came up were in the early 90's

It could be that some other device has connected first and is hogging the Bluetooth connection. Quite often my iPad will connect before the phone does thus blocking it.

I agree with most of "done with it" posted here.
At my age when I'm done with something, I don't miss it at all. It was nice going at the time but honestly "Been there, done that" sums it all up.

I replaced the noisy little fan with a 4"x4" 12 volt computer box fan.
Less noise and enough air movement.

Since we retired 20 yrs ago we spend every Summer at our cottage. This has been the worst year ever.
I poured rain at least three times a week. We had four power outages that last a few days. Three times we were driven back to the city due to thick wildfire smoke. Took the boat out twice.
Summer's are short here so it's basically over.

You only have to activate a new receiver once. Do it from home.
Mine is at the cottage, we have power outages regularly. Never have to re-activate.

I have that same new receiver at the cottage.
I don't know how it can tell where you are when it can't 'send' only receive. I hooked it up, waited till it booted up and then went online to hit the activate button. Took a few minutes. This is our third receiver and it was the easiest by far to get going.

We both have iPads . Wife had hers from day one. She uses it for everything, no problems. I still prefer my desk top or laptop. We spend summer at the cottage and we are both on iPad only, no problems paying bills, accessing bank accounts etc.
A lot of negative comments on Apple but the whole system is bullet proof, constant free upgrades and improvements.

RE: Shaw Direct Satellite
I don’t really know the latest info.
When we were using it Shaw put up a second high def satellite that could not cover the US. The old one still could but will eventually be fazed out.
Again, don’t take my word for it. This is old info.
